Gordon Duff - Community Manager
Gordon Duff is our Community Manager at Ross County Football Club where his key responsibilities within the Community Department are to look at driving forward the club’s vision and community projects and initiatives throughout the Highlands as well as seeking to enhance and further engage with the surrounding community and beyond.
Included in this is Gordon’s role working with Senior Football Development Officer Peter Budge to driving forward The Scottish FA initiatives in schools and clubs as well as delivering an extensive Scottish FA Coach Education Programme throughout the Highland’s & Island’s.
Gordon has a long connection with the club which has seen him progress from a modern apprentice coach to his position today as Community Manager with over 11 years at the club. Gordon’s coaching qualifications include the The Scottish FA’s Advanced Children’s Licence and Uefa B Licence.
Peter Budge - Senior Football Development Officer
Peter Budge is Ross County’s Senior Football Development Officer, whose everyday tasks are to engage and deliver community programmes throughout the Highlands & Islands.
SFA Coach Education, along with Gordon Duff, is another initiative which caters for prospective candidates who wish to improve their coaching skills, this also runs alongside In-Services that can be used for Continuous Coach Development. The Quality Mark initiative and the McDonalds Club Development programme are also key to developing people and clubs in the area.
Peter has been with the club for three years having previously been an FDO with Local Authorities for seven years. He presently holds the SFA Youth Licence, UEFA Basic Licence, Goalkeeping Level 2, plus the Childrens Award. Academically Peter has an HNC in Sports Coaching and Sports Development.
Prior to a job as an FDO Peter played, coached and managed Wick Academy FC, his local side for around 14yrs and was proud to captain the side in their first season in the Highland League. Coaching followed with five years coaching Ross County U15s and U17s culminating in the club winning the Scottish Youth Cup.
Seeing players reach their potential is the driving force for both Peter and the club and this has enabled him to see youths achieve their goals in the Highland League, SFL, Premier League and in selection for Scotland's National football team.
Peter is delighted to be going back to his roots by being involved with Ross Countys U15s in the exciting Project Brave and is looking forward to working with his fellow coaches in the new season ahead.
Ryan Moreton – Community Coach
Ryan has been a full time member of the Community Department since April 2017 but has been connected to the club for a number of years starting as a volunteer in 2014.
Ryan is responsible for a number of projects within the Community Department including our Soccer Centre Programme across Dingwall and Inverness running various sessions for kids aged between 3 and 12. Ryan is also responsible for our Rossco Juniors Club, Matchday visits as well as delivering various nursery and school programmes throughout Ross-shire and Inverness.
As well as this Ryan coordinates the FFIT and Walking Football Programmes at RCFC aimed towards men and women aged 35+.
Ryan is currently working towards his Scottish FA’s Advanced Children’s Licence which finishes in March
Ryan Farquhar - Community Coach
Ryan is our newest full time recruit in the Community Department but has a close connection, previously coaching in our Academy set up with the u11s. It is a natural progression for his own development moving into a full time community position while also coaching in our Academy set up.
Ryan is responsible for delivering RCFC’s Nursery and school’s provision which includes our Little Dribblers Programme, Rural Schools Programme and Rossco's Primary Stars. Ryan also coordinates and delivers our after school initiatives at various venues throughout Ross-Shire & Inverness where he looks to create a positive and engaging experience for everyone involved.
Ryan will look to further develop these initiatives and aim to continue to drive these throughout the region.
