Ross County FC can today announce that Kenny Van Der Weg has left the club. Kenny, who returned to the club in January 2019 is departing for Holland where he wishes to be closer to his family.
On Kenny’s departure, Co-Manager Steven Ferguson has said “Kenny has been a great professional to the club in both of his spells here and we totally understand his reasoning for wishing to return home. I am sure along with myself, Stuart and his team mates, our fans will wish Kenny all the very best for the future and we look forward to seeing the next developments in his career.”
28 year old Kenny originally joined the Staggies in 2016 before departing in January 2018. Following a spell with Hamilton and with Roeselare in Belgium, Kenny returned to the Global Energy Stadium in January 2019. Everybody at Ross County FC wishes Kenny all the best for the opportunities ahead.
