Photographer Simon Murphy and Moray Firth Radio and Clyde FM News and Sport Reporter, Linda Sinclair, recently visited Ethiopia with Scottish charity SCIAF as part of their annual Wee Box appeal.
Ross County Football Club donated strips, including first team kit, to Simon in order that he could help spread the love of football to those less fortunate than ourselves. He met two young charcoal sellers just south of the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, and thought they would be perfect recipients.
The kits were gratefully received and the men in receipt of County tops immediately teased their friend who received an Inverness Caledonian Thistle top, also donated as part of the campaign.
It was an honour to be invited to participate in the initiative and thanks to Linda at Sinclair and Simon Murphy for asking the club to get involved. You can learn more about SCIAF's fundraising at www.sciaf.org.uk
