Ross County Football Club would like to send their sincerest condolences to the family of former Manager, Ian McNeill, who passed away last night.
Speaking about McNeill - who enjoyed an extremely succesful playing and managerial career both in England and at home and who steered Ross County to their first Highland League title in 1967 - Chairman Roy MacGregor said: "Ian was a gentleman and one of Ross County's greatest ever managers. He was also instrumental in me becoming involved with the club.
"It was a huge honour to recently grant Ian Life Membership of the club. His influence to up and coming players and managers can never be understated and he will be sorely missed by those who knew him."
To honour Ian the club will hold a minute's silence at our next home match.
