League Cup Semi-Final: Thank you from the club

With the dust slowly settling after the League Cup Semi Final victory against Celtic and many plaudits coming in from across the UK and beyond it is time to reflect and pay tribute to all involved. Despite the challenges the stormy weather produced on Sunday more than 2000 Staggies made it to Hampden.

The Club laid on free bus travel and we have to thank our staff and D and E Coaches, Inverness for their efforts in getting 22 bus loads of supporters there safely and on time. Free tickets for children allowed more families to travel and enjoy the occasion.

This victory has taken the club to a new chapter in our history and the team, the management, the staff and of course the fans all made it another memorable occasion. Irrespective of the contribution this victory has once again given Ross County national profile as being more than a football club.

The Chairman, Directors, manager, players and staff have a part to play but the fans must once again take a lot of the credit for the ongoing success of the club.

Come on the Staggies we have 4 home matches to look forward to in February and a League Cup Final on Sunday 13 March. Information on ticketing and transport for the League Cup Final will follow soon - watch this space
