Ross County Football Club are delighted to welcome Kenny MacLennan to the club as Supporter Liason Officer (SLO). In his new role, MacLennan will be an advocate for supporters and ensure that their opinions, suggestions and feedback is communicated to the club. As well as this, Kenny will be an important presence at both home and away matches this coming season, acting as a point of contact for supporters and listening to any issues or concerns raised and passing them on to the club.
Speaking about the appointment, General Manager, Emily Wilson said, “The Club has had a real focus on listening to the fans in recent months via supporters' meetings. The next logical step was to appoint a Supporter Liason Officer which we recognise is a vital position with regard to improving relationships with fans and getting a greater insight into their viewpoint.
“I wish Kenny the best of luck in his new role and look forward to working with him in the coming season.”
Speaking about taking up the Supporter Liason Officer role, Kenny MacLennan said, “I am delighted to have been approached by the club to take on the role of Supporter Liaison Officer (SLO) and look forward to working with them going forward.
“It is important that supporters see they are able to have their concerns raised and understood by the club and that the fans have an input and that their concerns are being listened to,” added MacLennan. “As a lifelong Ross County fan it’s in my interests to do my best to help strengthen the communication between the fans and the club and I am relishing the challenge.”
