Coaching Young Footballers

A Scottish FA Coaching Young Footballers course was held at Millburn Academy at the weekend. This course sits on the Children’s Pathway within the coach education structure as a follow up to the Early Touches course and has been designed for coaches who work with players aged 5-12yrs.

The attendees received a CD ROM which covers themes such as Creative Player; Technical sessions and Coaching World. This resource will assist the coaches in developing a Coaching Philosophy – ‘to become the best coach they can be’.   Courses within the North region can be found on the SFA website.
