On Saturday 23rd March 2019, Ross County Football Club won the IRN-BRU Cup (SPFL Challenge Cup) for the third time in their history with a 3-1 victory over Welsh side Connah's Quay Nomads.
The Welsh club were ahead at the break through a fine Bakare strike and squandered other chances to extend their leaf before the interval but the Staggies responded in style in the second half.
Substitute and man of the match, Josh Mullin, equalised from a tight angle with 15 minutes left and the former Livingston player scored again before Jamie Lindsay rounded things off with his 10th goal for the club four minutes from time.
XI: Ross Munro, Marcus Fraser (c), Michael Gardyne, Jamie Lindsay, Declan McManus, Andy Boyle, Keith Watson, Brian Graham, Don Cowie, Ross Stewart, Kenny Van Der Weg.
Subs: Scott Fox, Sean Kelly, Josh Mullin, Lewis Spence, Harry Paton, Daniel Armstrong, Tom Grivosti.
