On the 12th of August, ahead of the Ross County v Aberdeen Ladbrokes Premiership fixture, Ross County Football Club held its first ‘Rossco Juniors’ event. The event gave members of the new matchday club the opportunity to meet fellow Rossco Juniors Club Members and take part in various fun football challenges run by the club’s community coaches - the highlight of which was the penalty challenge with mascot Rossco and Head of Youth and Community, Steven Ferguson, between the sticks. Other attractions on the day included face painting, music and hot food and drink and Chairman, Roy MacGregor, even stopped by to say hello.
The event was attended by over 100 members of Rossco Juniors who all took in the game afterwards. Members of the club - which costs just £20 per season to join - receive a Rossco Juniors membership card; RCFC lunch box and water bottle; admission to all home league games; 10% discount in the club shop; birthday & Christmas card; chance to vote for the Rossco Juniors Player of the Year; as well as invites to exclusive Rossco Juniors events like Saturday’s and access to exclusive competitions.
One such competition was launched on Saturday. Rossco Juniors members who invite a friend to join and have them use the code ‘RJ1929’ when signing up will be entered into a competition to win the chance for the both members to be given a tour of the stadium and lunch with Ross County’s 1st team. There is no limit on the number people you can invite to join Rossco Juniors and entry is open until the end of September.
The next Rossco Juniors exclusive matchday event will be announced soon!
