The club is delighted to announce season ticket pricing for the 2017/18 season including a number of huge discounts on last season’s prices.
The new ticket pricing structure, aimed at making football more affordable for Staggies of all ages, includes the following highlights:
In addition, the club is introducing an Early Bird Discount ** on season tickets for the East and West Stands which will see supporters receive a 10% discount on their season ticket if they buy it between May 22nd and June 10th, 2017.
NOTE: new season tickets will not be on sale until Monday May 22nd, 2017.
Standard ticket prices for the East/West Stands (before discount) are: Adult (£360, frozen for a FIFTH consecutive year - before early bird discount), Over 65 (£210), Over 75 (£105), 18-21 (£100), U18 (£40), U12 (£5*)
On the new season ticket pricing structure, Ross County Chairman, Roy MacGregor said:
“We have been holding regular Supporters Meetings this season and it became apparent from those that football in general has become too expensive. We’ve not raised the price of season tickets for five years but we wanted to go further than that and try to make football more affordable and get more people along on a Saturday afternoon.
“Bringing the price of an Adult season ticket for the Jail End down from £300 to £200 is quite a dramatic discount and, we hope it will really make those seats more accessible to those who may have struggled at the old price. People who want to sit in the East / West stands have had their season ticket prices frozen again and they will be able to take advantage of a 10% discount through our early bird scheme.
“Another thing that came out of the Supporters Meetings was that football was too expensive for our young fans too. So we have taken this feedback on board and now a Young Adult (18-21) who may be an apprentice or on a low income can get their season ticket for the Jail End for £100 with U18s getting a season ticket for just £40 and U12s getting their season ticket for just £5!
“The new pricing means a parent can get a season ticket for themselves and two children under 12 for just £210. We think it’s really good value and hope it will remove another barrier for more young supporters to come along to games.
“Another area we have looked at is walk-up match-day ticket prices. We are tied with Adult pricing - by the League and opposition to a degree - but what we have done is make an under 18 single match ticket just £5, which again we think is a really affordable price point.
“We thought long and hard about introducing these new prices - aware that any loss of revenue from season tickets could ultimately affect the playing budget at the club - but we felt so strongly, and we could see our supporters felt very strongly about it too - that something needed to be done to make coming to see Ross County more affordable and available to all.”
* The Young Staggie (Under 12) season ticket is £5 and does not qualify for Early Bird Discount.
** Early Bird Discount does not apply to Jail End (South Stand) season tickets.
Walk-up Adult match day ticket prices will remain the same with the exception of under 18s who will be able to buy tickets for £5.
