Thanks to the generosity of one of the Club’s major commercial backers, Ross County fans can look forward to the fun of away days in the coming season without it breaking the bank.
Weldex are an international market leading supplier of cranes and lifting solutions, and now that extends to helping “lift” the number of Staggies able to travel to away games! CEO Dougie McGilvray has offered a significant level of financial support to help drive down the cost for Ross County fans wanting to support their team on their travels as part of the new Staggies Together initiative to strengthen the links between the Club and its fans in the local community.
The Club’s Director of Stakeholder Liaison, David O’Connor, commented;
“This is an extremely generous gesture of support from Weldex and I’d like to thank Dougie and the team there on behalf of everyone at the Club – particularly the fans of course! Having said that it is a benefit to the team to have loud and enthusiastic support from the stands whether they’re playing here in Dingwall or further afield. A large part of my role is to try and build on the links between fans and the Club to make that happen – and it’s certainly a lot easier when you’re getting backing like this from our Commercial Supporters!”
Having already run a bus to the midweek match against Partick Thistle, the Club will be looking to work in partnership with Supporters Clubs to arrange travel throughout the season but the next order of business is the match against Dundee United this Saturday, the 23rd of August.
For this match seats are priced at just £10 with the bus running from Tore with pick-ups also available at the Stadium in Dingwall and in Inverness. Seats can be booked through the Club either in person at the stadium, by telephoning 01349 860860 or online 24 hours a day via the online store (click here).
