Having featured in the English Premiership as well as UEFA Cup and FA Cup semi-finals - club captain, Davies, is one of the most experienced defenders currently playing in the Scottish Premiership. After starting out at his boyhood heroes, Middlesbrough, as a teenager, Davies went on to feature for Queen’s Park Rangers, Derby County, Preston North End, Sheffield United, Walsall and Crystal Palace on loan as well as earning high profile permanent moves to Southampton, Stoke City and Bradford City before joining Ross County in the summer of 2015.

Davies’ spell at County has been one of the most fruitful of his career, seeing him lift his - and the club’s - first major top flight trophy in the form of the League Cup. Other career highlights include a UEFA Cup semi-final performance for Middlesbrough and a famous FA Cup fourth round victory over Chelsea during his time with Bradford.
