The club’s all-time top goalscorer and appearance maker, winger, Gardyne, is enjoying his fourth - and most successful - spell at the club. Having started out at Celtic Football Club, the young winger  joined County on loan in the 2006/07 season before making a permanent move from Celtic to Greenock Morton in search of first team action.

County came calling soon after, however, and Gardyne moved to the club permanently in 2008, going on to win both the Second and First Division titles before moving to hometown club, Dundee United, in 2012.

Struggling for game time under Jackie McNamara, Gardyne joined Kilmarnock on loan in the 2013/14 season and then came back to County for a third spell (on loan) in 2014 before inking a permanent deal to return in the 2015/16 season on a permanent basis.

Gardyne scored and provided the assist for the winner in County’s 2016 League Cup win.
