RCFC Schools Partnership Programme

Ross County’s Community Department are working with Highland Schools on using the hook of football as the tool in which to increase participation and enjoyment in physical activities as well as integrated health and wellbeing messages such as to support to young people in their learning . So far, the Staggies have teamed up with more than 14 businesses who will sponsor a specific school in which the community department will then deliver physical activity with the positive messages to improve physical, mental, social and emotional wellbeing,

On the programme Community Manager Gordon Duff said: “We believe that through this programme we will help increase pupil attendance, pupil engagement in their own education and participation in their local community beyond the school day. We are looking to aid schools and assist teachers where possible. We would encourage as many local businesses as possible to support us financially to deliver to as many schools as possible and help local kids stay active here in the Highlands.”
