Initial Squad Update - End of 23/24 Season

Ross County Football Club can give an initial squad update following the culmination of the 23/24 season.
Yan Dhanda, Jordan Tillson, Adam Mackinnon and Matthew Wright will all depart the club following the conclusion of their contracts.
Yan joined the club in 2022, making 79 appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals in that time. He swiftly became a fans favourite and played a big part in keeping the club in the Premiership this season.
Don Cowie added, ‘Yan has been an integral part of our football club over the last 2 seasons. A player who the fans have really grown to love. We wish him & his family the very best in his move to Hearts & look forward to welcoming him back to the Global Energy Stadium next season.’
Jordan, joined the club in 2020, making 100 appearances for the club, scoring 1 goal in the process.
Don commented, ‘Jordan has been a tremendous servant for our football club amassing over 100 appearances. He has been a model professional & we wish him & his family the very best for the next chapter in his career.’
Matthew and Adam both came through the clubs academy system, joining the first-team squad in the 20/21 season. Matthew made 8 first-team appearances with Adam making 6 appearances.
Don added this on the departures of the pair, ‘We wish Matthew the very best in next chapter of his career. He moved over from the islands as a youngster and it has been fantastic to watch him develop as a player and as a person. The memory of him as an academy graduate scoring a last minute equaliser against Rangers will be forever remembered by the fans. Similarly to Matthew, Adam moved over from the islands as a youngster and it has been fantastic watching him develop. His recent loan spells will stand him in good stead for the future with his recent loan spell at Arbroath being a real positive move for him playing regularly in the Scottish Championship. We wish Adam all the very best in the next chapter of his career.'
In addition to this, loan signings Will Nightingale, George Wickens, Loick Ayina, Teddy Jenks, Eli King, Brandon Khela and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson have all returned to their parent clubs.
Don Cowie commented on the departing loanees - ‘On behalf of the club I would like to thank all the loan players in their key contribution both on and off the park in helping the club secure premiership football next season. We wish them the very best in returning to their parent clubs.’
