Jordy Hiwula joins The Staggies

Striker Jordy Hiwula has become Malky Mackay’s sixth summer signing, joining The Staggies from Doncaster Rovers.
Jordy, who has joined the team on our pre-season trip to Italy, has signed at two-year-deal with Ross County. At 27, Jordy is a player that has great experience and has featured at both English Championship & League One levels consistently in his career.
Hiwula came through the youth system at Manchester City before joining Huddersfield Town in 2015.
Jordy’s goal scoring exploits in his formative years, showing a natural ability to find the goal would lead to him being recruited by Coventry City- where he would go on to score 17 goals in 61 appearances for the Sky Blues.
On signing Jordy, Manager Malky Mackay said, “Jordy is a great addition to the group. He is an experienced player that has scored goals across the EFL over a number of years.”
