Connall Ewan and Ryan MacLeman both made their cinch League 2 debuts on Saturday in Elgin City’s narrow defeat in their opening game against Stranraer. Connall played the full 90 minutes and was named as the clubs man of the match whereby Ryan also impressed, playing 89 minutes.

Zach Macphee also made his Highland League debut in Clachnacuddin’s 1-1 draw with Keith, coming on for the last 20 minutes and helping his side earn a point.
