Saturday sees the return of cinch Premiership action to the Global Energy Stadium as we face St Johnstone.

We are looking to build on our performance at Celtic Park last week and get our first points on the board.

TEAM NEWS

Our team news ahead of Saturday's game remains similar to pre-Celtic. A few players are edging closer to returns from injury. Scott Allardice took a knock at Celtic Park and it remains to be seen if he will be fit for Saturday's game.

HEAD TO HEAD

The last meeting between the two sides took place in May where an entertaining 3-3 draw was on offer at the Global Energy Stadium. St Johnstone were 2-0 up at the break before goals from Jack Baldwin, Jordan White and Yan Dhanda put the Staggies in the lead. Ryan McGowan equalised with the last kick of the game which meant the spoils were shared.

THE OPPOSITION

The Perth side have had a busy summer with 17 players leaving the club and 6 new arrivals. They begun their season last Saturday with a 2-0 defeat at home to Heart of Midlothian.
