Staggies Women return to winning ways
15/04/2025
Ross County Women returned to winning ways in Aberdeen with a 7-2 victory over their hosts.
A somewhat low-key first half saw Mollie Parker open the scoring in the 14th minute, but it was after the restart that County blitzed their opponents.
Strikes from Rhiannon Ebrihem and Parker within five minutes of the second half opened up daylight between the two sides.
Parker would then complete her hat-trick just before the hour mark, with Ebrihem adding her second of the afternoon a few minutes later.
Daisy Fraser would then get in on the act, scoring in the 68th and 74th minutes to make it 7-0 to County.
Although Aberdeen would hit back twice in the closing 10 minutes, they were no more than consolations at that stage, with County holding out for a comfortable victory.
With results elsewhere, County have moved back up to third in the SWFL North table.
Elgin City continue to lead the way after a 3-0 victory at home against Arbroath, still top on goal difference but with three games in hand over Grampian, who saw off Huntly 4-0 on Friday night.
