Chairman says "Dont miss out" as demand reaches peak

Staggies fans have voted with their feet with record high season ticket sales being announced by the club at a Board Meeting today, 1st July. Having taken last season's Championship by storm, it’s no surprise demand is high to see Stuart Kettlewell and Steven Ferguson’s team tackle the best in Scotland next term.

On the achievement Staggies Chairman, Roy MacGregor, gives a warning to supporters. He said, “As much as we are elated at the early results of our season ticket sales, it's also important to remind people that this will mean less opportunity to purchase individual match tickets in the lead up to matches. Our aim is to try and get as many of our own fans through the door as we possibly can and the fact that for big matches we might not have enough tickets for our local fans is a tough position to be in. However, we can only go with what is in front of us. We want our home crowds to be big, to stand up against the Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen fans. I would encourage anybody that hasn’t renewed or purchased their season ticket to do so now to avoid the disappointment of missing these matches.”

The opportunity to purchase individual match tickets for the Global Energy Stadium is to be down dramatically this year. We are urging fans to avoid missing tickets for the big matches by guaranteeing their place through the purchase of a season ticket.
