Ross County Football Club is delighted to announce that Liam Fontaine has been named as club vice-captain. The 32-year-old centre back, who joined the Staggies in January of this year, has become a mainstay of the County defence under Steven Ferguson and Stuart Kettlewell and the pair have wasted no time since assuming their positions permanently in naming Marcus Fraser club captain with Liam Fontaine installed as vice-captain.
Speaking about Fontaine's appointment, co-manager, Steven Ferguson, said: "We are delighted to name Liam Fontaine as our vice-captain. We see Liam as the stand out choice to take on this responsibility. With his experience and level head he will be the perfect foil for Marcus Fraser in his new role as captain."
