Joel MacBeath and his Montrose side made it 5 wins in a row after a 1-0 away win at 3rd placed East Fife. Although not on the scoresheet, MacBeath played 53 minutes in the match which now takes the Links Park club 6 points clear of the bottom two positions in the league.
Declan McManus and his Falkirk side overtook Raith Rovers at the top of Ladbrokes League One. Winning 2-0 way at Forfar Athletic the win sees The Bairns go one point clear in 1st position in what is an incredibly tight title-race.
Ross Munro watched from the bench as his Raith Rovers teammates lost out 2-0 at Peterhead. After making the long trip to Balmoor, it wasn’t only the 3 points Raith dropped but also lost their place at the top of League One.
Declan Hughes was undoubtedly in one of the most thrilling matches of the weekend. His Forres Mechanics team came out 5-4 winners at Mosset Park over local rivals Lossiemouth. In a highly entertaining match, Hughes started the match but wasn’t on the scoresheet.
Gregor MacDonald & Jack Grant helped Keith to a 2-0 win over Deveronvale at Princess Royal Park. A brace from aptly named “Cammy Keith” sealed the 3 points for Keith as they look to try and push themselves up the Highland League table.
In the only other Loan Watch fixture, Tom Kelly and James Wallace were without a fixture after their loan club Brora Rangers saw the visit of Formartine United Postponed due to a Waterlogged pitch.
