As well as a good win for our 1st Team here in Dingwall, there were some good wins for some of our loan players. Leading the way was reserve team player Jack Murray who earlier last week joined Buckie Thistle on loan until January.
Jack Murray scored one of four goals that saw Buckie Thistle overcome Fort William at Victoria Park. The win not only saw Murray bag himself a goal in front of the Buckie faithful, but sent the Jags to the top of the Highland League table.
Declan McManus’ Falkirk had an impressive 3-0 home victory over Forfar on Saturday afternoon. Although McManus failed to score, he played a major part in a good win for the Bairns.
Ross Munro kept a clean sheet as his Raith Rovers side ran riot over Peterhead. Putting the Blue Toon to the test, Munro’s clean-sheet and Raith’s emphatic win keeps them in 2nd place in Ladbrokes League 1.
James Wallace made it two wins in two matches since moving to Brora Rangers on loan. The striker didn’t find the back of the net but helped the Cattachs to a 2-0 win against Deveronvale at Princess Royal Park.
Joel MacBeath watched from the bench as his Montrose side fell to a 3-1 home loss on Saturday. The striker didn’t manage to get on to the field as the Gable Endies lost to league leaders East Fife at Links Park.
