Having only lost to Old Firm rivals Celtic earlier this season it has been a rampant start to the campaign for Rangers. After falling behind in both matches in draw against Hearts and a marginal 2-1 victory over Motherwell, Steven Gerrard’s team are showing great credentials in being able to come back from difficult situations.

Key Men

Connor Goldson

The Defender has been a mainstay in the Rangers team and is a key brick in the defensive wall of the Glasgow club. As well as being a strong centre back the defender also provides a threat at the other end of the park from set plays and crosses where he has scored important goals for Rangers.

Jermain Defoe

The highly-experienced striker has been running-riot in the Ladbrokes Premiership this season. With 10 goals already, the former England striker has been an important part in why Rangers currently in a very tight title-race with city rivals Celtic.

Alfredo Morelos

Who Gerrard will play upfront, only he will be able to tell us. Whether it is Morelos or Defoe either will pose a massive attacking threat for Rangers in Dingwall. Morelos, sitting on 8 league goals, has been a vital player for Rangers since his arrival at Ibrox and will continue to be so. He recently notched an important goal for Rangers in the Europa League match with Porto.

Last Meeting

The last meeting in Dingwall between the two clubs ended in a 2-1 victory for Rangers, under the stewardship of Graeme Murty. Goals from Daniel Candeias and Jason Cummings had the visitors 2-0 ahead before a 90th Minute penalty from David N’Gog made it a nervous final few minutes for the Ibrox Club. From that squad only 4 Staggies remain – Billy McKay, Michael Gardyne, Ross Draper and Marcus Fraser.
