Last weekend saw Motherwell make it 3 wins in 3 matches after winning 3-2 at Tynecastle. Wins in previous weeks against Hibernian and Hamilton have seen Stephen Robinson’s side take 9 points from 9. Their only loss this season came in a 5-2 home tie with Celtic and an opening day point at Livingston has taken Motherwell's points total in to double figures.

This season (league only):

Goals Scored: 11

Goals Conceded: 8

Liam Donnelly leads the way with 4 goals in 5 appearances for the hosts.

Key Men

Liam Donnelly

Originally a defender, Donnelly has transitioned in to a midfielder for Motherwell under the coaching of Stephen Robinson. A key driving force, and clinical goal scorer, Donnelly is Motherwell’s leading goal scorer so far this term with 4 goals in 5 matches.

Sherwin Seedorf

Seedorf only joined Motherwell this summer but since his arrival has made a big impact for his team. With pace and physicality, Seedorf is known for being a good finisher and not being scared of taking on a defender.

Liam Polworth

Leading the way for assists at Fir Park this season, Polworth has been a good addition to Robinson’s side since his summer move from Inverness Caledonian Thistle. With a reputation of providing a high number of assists season on season, Polworth will be looking to put one over on his former rivals from his Inverness days.

Last Meetings

The last two meetings of Motherwell and the Staggies has seen us fail to lose. A 2-1 Scottish Cup victory at Fir Park last season, thanks to a brace from Brian Graham, is coupled with a 0-0 draw from April 2018.
