The Ross County Reserves ran out 3-1 winners at the Highland Football Academy, Dingwall today. An even first half - which saw the home side take the lead through a fine Harry Paton finish before a Lewis Smith goal from inside the Staggies' box drew the visitors level - saw the half end one apiece.
Richie Brittain's charges pushed on after the interval and were the better side. Further goals from Paton - the pick of the game's goals, a precise left-footed finished from the edge of the box - and Demetriou saw the Staggies in cruise control.
Accies did force a number of decent saves from County stopper, Ross Munro, but the Accies keeper was equally busy as the half wore on. The Staggies ran out comfortable winners, however, against a side who had swept Celtic reserves aside 3-0 last week.
